Google’s latest android version 5.0 “Lollipop” is indeed one of the greatest upgrades both in design as well as performance. The Android 5.0 also known as Lollipop was unveiled on June 25,2014. it became available through official over-the-air (OTA) updates on November 12, 2014, for selected devices. After the update, many problems were reported by Nexus users and many of those were taken care by the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update.
Because of the problems encountered by Android 5.0 Lollipop upon its roll out on November 12, 2014, Google had to come up with at least two patches to appease the frustration of some users on the latest mobile operating system for Android handsets.
Google initially released the Android 5.0.1 patch in the last week of November, which was sufficient enough to address certain bugs but not all of them. So in December, the Android 5.0.2 patch was released.
While a very small chunk of the smartphones have received the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update and others continue to linger, Google has silently announced the new update for the world’s most popular smartphone OS .Again, despite addressing some bugs, glitches and other issues, the patch was still not good enough to fix all the key problems. Thus, Google went back to the drawing board and started working on the Android 5.1 Lollipop. Yes you read it right , google is already on its way with the 5.1 version .
Android 5.1 Lollipop Is Real

Apart from these lower end versions, screenshots of Android 5.1 Lollipop update have been spotted for MOTO G 2014 version and several other builds for Nexus 9, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5.

Google’s Indonesia website confirmed the same by announcing the Android One devices with Android 5.1 Lollipop update. Website Android Police managed to get a screenshot too.
