Increase or Decrease Font Size using Keyboard Shortcut
Quickly increase the font text size in Microsoft Word and most other PC text programs by highlighting the text and pressing Ctrl + Shift + >
To decrease the size of text ,press and hold Ctrl + Shift + <
Quickly insert bullets and numbered list
Quickly insert bullets into Microsoft Word by typing an asterisk (*), a space, and then your sentence. When enter is pressed Microsoft Word will automatically change your asterisks to a bullet and text proceeding that text. This can also be done with dashes ( – ), and numbers (1. or 1) to create a numbered list.
Quickly create tables
Create tables in Microsoft Word by typing a plus (+) to start the table and tab until you want the table cell or table to end. For example, in the figure below, we have four + symbols separated by a single tab that would create a table similar to the table shown in the picture after pressing enter after the last plus.
Quickly insert hyperlinks
Quickly create hyperlinks in your Microsoft Word document by highlighting the text and pressing Ctrl + K together.
Quickly generate text for Checking
Type or copy and paste “=rand(8,10)” (without the quotes) and press enter in Microsoft Word to generate a bunch of text that can be used to test page formatting, fonts, etc.
Quickly undo mistakes in Word by pressing the shortcut key CTRL + Z. If you have mistakenly cut or deleted text in Microsoft Word, pressing the CTRL and the Z key at the same time would undo that change. Most Windows programs also support the ability to undo multiple changes. Continuing to press CTRL + Z will undo one change at a time often back up to 12 or more changes.
Redo the undo: If you undo something you did not mean to undo , pressing CTRL + Y will redo the undo.
