Starting with version 7.0,VirtualDJ supports up to 99 decks. 4-deck and 6-deck skins are included in all editions of VirtualDJ 7. VirtualDJ offers video mixing and scratching, allowing the DJ to become a VJ. Vinyl emulation allows the user to physically manipulate the playback of digital audio files on a computer using the turntables as an interface, thus preserving the hands-on feel of DJ’ing with vinyl while allowing playback of audio recordings not available in phonograph form. Traktor (previously known as Traktor DJ Studio) is a DJ software package developed by Native Instruments. The most recent version, Traktor Pro, offers seamless looping, effects, automatic beat-gridding of tracks, advanced beat detection and Sync Lock for automatic synchronization of tracks, key detection, a 4-channel mixer, emulating the Xone:92 4-band EQ and filters by Allen & Heathand five other equalizer models, real-time track management with incremental search, artwork browsing, iPod and iTunes compatibility, automatic gain control, integrated recorder supporting internal and external audio input, support for multiple MIDI controllers and advanced MIDI assignments, as well as the syncing of external gear through MIDI clock functionality.
Traktor comes in two forms: Traktor Pro, which can be controlled using a traditional mouse and keyboard or one of an endless list of hardware DJ controllers, and Traktor Scratch, which is designed to be used in conjunction with one of Native Instruments’ digital vinyl setups.

5) Mixvibes CrossDJ
CrossDJ, from French developer Mixvibes, punches well above its entry-level price point; despite being cheaper than some of its closest rivals, the software is surprisingly well equipped, reliable and nicely designed.
It also has one of the best beat mapping systems of any DJ app on the market. It does, however, have a handful of minor limitations, such as featuring a maximum of just two decks and having a fairly weak collection of effects.
